If your idea of a perfect day involves old-school engineering, proper mechanical diesel power, the unmistakable whistle of a Gardner engine, and a healthy amount of exhaust smoke—you are in exactly the right place.
For a long time, we’ve been sharing our passion for vintage transport, classic HGVs, and life on the road over on YouTube. Now, this website is stepping up as our main hub. Consider it the central workshop for everything we do.
What is Not the Full Cog All About?
We are all about keeping transport history alive—no over-produced nonsense, just proper vehicles and proper noise. If it was built from raw steel and requires actual driver skill to handle, we want to look at it, film it, and talk about it.
Here is what you can expect to find around here:
- Vintage HGV & Truck Shows: Full event montages, road runs, and deep dives from the UK’s best vintage transport rallies (including upcoming events like the Grantham Rally!).
- Classic Lorries & Machinery: From iconic British haulage legends like ERF, Foden, Leyland, Scammell, and Atkinson, to classic European and American workhorses.
- Life on the Road & Truck Spotting: Documenting transport oddities, highway history, and the incredible stories of the people who drove them.
- Old-School Diesel Culture: Celebrating a time before computers and sensors took over, when you could still fix a breakdown on the roadside with basic tools and sheer determination.
